ELM LAWN MAINTENANCE SERVICES

About ELM LAWN MAINTENANCE SERVICES

By late afternoon the Vidor heat loosens its grip, the water oaks throw long shade across FM 105, and ELM Lawn Maintenance Services is still turning neat rows. Summer here scatters crape myrtle blossoms all along the curb line, and they get swept off the concrete with the clippings before the truck pulls away. The work stays unhurried and in order — mow, edge, trim the fence rows and the mailbox pipe, blow the walks down. Grass in this corner of Orange County grows like it has somewhere to be, so the calendar stays tight; a regular return keeps a yard from ever getting ahead of anybody. Pulling out at dusk and seeing every line lying parallel behind you is its own reward.
