Lone Star Lawns

About Lone Star Lawns

Van sits where the East Texas pines start giving way to open country, red dirt underfoot and oil derricks in the county's memory. The rain comes generously here and the grass answers it, which is why Lone Star Lawns runs a mowing route that barely gets a rest between April and October. Edging along drives, trimming fence lines and around tree trunks, blowing the walks clear — the small moves that separate a mowed yard from a finished one. When autumn turns the sweetgums and oaks, cleanups take over and the leaves get hauled off before they mat down the turf. A yard in Van ought to look as easy as the country around it, and that takes work.
