About HD Lawnscapes

March rain hits the blackland hard, and within a week the Van Alstyne yards go from dun to a green you can see from the highway. HD Lawnscapes lives for that first mow of the year — the deck set, the grass thick and wet, the smell coming up off the clippings like the whole county exhaled. From there it is the long summer cadence: mowing on schedule, edging the concrete, trimming beds and fence corners, keeping the shape of a yard through heat that does not let up until October. The crew measures a season by how few lawns ever get away from them. A yard that looks the same good way in June as it did in April is the entire ambition.
