About Cornerstone Landscapes

Storms reach Uvalde from the northwest, stacking up over the Balcones rim before they drop rain on the brush country and set every lawn in town growing at once. Cornerstone Landscapes shows up in the week after — the week when grass gets ahead of everybody — and brings it back down to something orderly. Edges along the drive, trimmed lines at the fence posts, beds cleared of whatever the wind carried in. In March the mountain laurel turns purple and the whole town smells sweet; by August the aim is simply green, even and neatly kept. Steady maintenance is what carries a yard from one of those months to the other.
