Spring storms come at Trophy Club from the west, stacking over the post oaks of the Cross Timbers and turning the whole sky green-gray before they break. Bergstrom Landscape works the days between them, when the ground is soft and the Bermuda is climbing an inch a day and everything needs cutting at once. A yard mowed on time through April holds its shape all summer — that is the whole idea, and it shows in the straight passes and the trimmed line along every fence and mailbox post. Later in the year the leaves and seed heads and storm litter all have to come off the turf, and that is work too. The routes run through Trophy Club and out toward Justin, Argyle and Haslet.
