About 3Gs services

Dawn in Tornillo is enormous — light coming up flat across cotton and alfalfa, canal water moving quietly toward the Rio Grande. 3Gs services works the yards of this Lower Valley farm town, mowing bermuda that stays green only because someone keeps it watered and cut, edging the walks and drives, trimming along fences and block walls. Desert sun is unkind to a lawn left long, and dust settles on everything, so the sidewalks get cleared at the end of the visit. Beds and gravel borders are weeded before anything can go to seed. Green in El Paso County is an achievement rather than an accident, and it looks like one when it is kept right.
