About Evergreen Lawn Services

For about a week each February, Timberwood Park smells faintly of grape soda — mountain laurel in bloom, purple against a sky a north wind has scrubbed clean. Evergreen Lawn Services keeps working straight through that quiet stretch, when the bermuda lies straw-colored and the real jobs are shrub trimming, bed cleanup and carrying off winter debris. Then the days lengthen, a green haze rises through the dormant blades, and mowing and edging start again in earnest. Trimming keeps the fence lines honest week to week, and each visit ends with the walks and curbs cleared. A yard on this side of Bexar County is never truly asleep, only waiting, and by March it shows exactly who tended it in the cold.
