Texarkana Lawn

About Texarkana Lawn

There is a post office downtown built square across the state line, and half of Texarkana lives that way — one address, two states, one long growing season. Texarkana Lawn keeps that ground trimmed: mowing on a steady turn, crisp edging along walks and beds, string trimming around fence posts and mailbox stands, and every clipping blown off the concrete. Come autumn the work turns to leaf cleanup and yard cleanups, when sweetgum balls and oak leaves cover a lawn overnight. It is plain work and the reward is plain too — a yard that reads as cared for from the street, before anyone gets out of the car. Service runs through Texarkana and the towns around it: Nash, Wake Village, Hooks, and Maud.
