Southern Roots Lawn Care

About Southern Roots Lawn Care

A June evening in Terrell is thick and green-smelling, pecan shade over the sidewalks and cicadas winding up somewhere in the crowns. Southern Roots Lawn Care belongs to that climate — mowing turf that grows fast in the humidity, edging it back off the concrete, shaping hedges before they swallow a porch rail. Yards in this town have deep roots and older plantings, and the work is as much about keeping them in proportion as it is about cutting grass. There's a real pleasure in stepping back from a trimmed hedge and a fresh-cut lawn that finally frames the house instead of hiding it. When the season turns, the leaves get cleared and the beds get put back in order.
