About Fletcher Lawn & Landscaping

The soil under Terrell is blackland prairie clay — sticky in an April rain, hard as a dinner plate by August — and every good bed line in this town is cut against it. Fletcher Lawn & Landscaping does that cutting: fresh edges around beds, mulch laid dark and even, shrubs shaped so the front of a house reads clean from the street. The mowing and trimming run alongside it week to week, because a planting only looks as good as the turf it sits in. April is the best month for it, when the grass finally wakes up and everything you plant seems to lean toward the light. What stays with you afterward is the moment of standing at the mailbox looking back at a yard that finally makes sense.
