Joe’s Lawn Care Service

About Joe’s Lawn Care Service

Sunray sits high on the Panhandle plains, better than three thousand feet up, where the wind never entirely quits and you can watch a thunderhead build for an hour before it ever reaches you. Grass is earned in country like this — short-grass, big-sky, wheat-and-cattle country, and a green lawn in Moore County amounts to a small act of defiance. Joe's Lawn Care Service keeps them going: mowing, edging along walks and drives, trimming what wind and mower both miss, carrying the clippings off. Summer evenings out here run long and gold, and a freshly cut yard under that light is worth standing on the porch for. When a blue norther drops the thermometer forty degrees in an afternoon, the work turns to cleanup, and the yard goes into the cold squared away.
