About USA Sod Company of Houston

Dig a spade into any yard in Sugar Land and the Brazos has already had its say — heavy black gumbo the river left behind, ground that cracks open in August and turns to glue in a February rain. Turf has to be talked into soil like that, not simply dropped on it. USA Sod Company of Houston does the talking: soil preparation and grading, sod installation, and the follow-through a young lawn needs while it knits down — mowing, edging, fertilization, weed control, watering guidance through the first hot weeks. The best hour on any job comes late, when the last piece is tamped in and the seams go invisible, and what was a raw builder's lot out toward Riverstone or Telfair reads as one unbroken sheet of green. Come the next spring, roots have found the river's old clay and nobody can tell where the work began.
