About High Plains PW

Stinnett sits a little over three thousand feet up on the Panhandle plain, where the wind is less a weather event than a permanent resident. High Plains PW takes on lawns in that country — mowing, edging, trimming — knowing the grit gets into everything and the grass grows in hard-won bursts between dry spells. North of town the land breaks toward the Canadian River, and from a Hutchinson County yard you can watch a whole afternoon of sky arrive from Oklahoma. A cut done right up here means blown-clean walks and a border that the wind can't blur. It is stubborn work for a stubborn place, and the yards show it.
