United Lawn Care Service

About United Lawn Care Service

Storms reach Erath County from the west, dragging a gray wall over the dairy pastures, and two days later every lawn in Stephenville has put on three inches out of pure enthusiasm. United Lawn Care Service meets that surge with mowing, edging, string trimming and a clean blow-down of the walks and drive, working on into the long gold of a Texas evening. Down in the North Bosque bottoms the ground stays soft and the grass runs thick; up on the higher lots it grows thinner and asks for a lighter hand, the same work read two different ways. What holds it all together is the round itself, the same houses on the same day, so a family pulls in at dusk to a yard already handled. The service reaches across Stephenville and out into the country toward Lingleville, De Leon and Alexander.
