About Joah Lewis Lawn Care

The soil around St. Paul is the dark, heavy clay of the Texas prairie, the kind that swells sticky after a spring rain and by late August opens cracks wide enough to lose a pencil in. Joah Lewis Lawn Care works with that stubborn, fertile ground, mowing and tending yards in a small town where open land is never far away. Grass on clay grows thick when the weather is kind, and it needs a steady hand to stay even instead of running wild through the rainy weeks. Keeping grass looking as good in the hard light of a dry summer as it did in the soft green of May, level, edged and cared for, is work worth doing well. When a cool front finally rolls across the prairie and the cracks close up again, a yard that came through the season in good shape feels like a small victory.
