Keith Lawn & Tree Service

About Keith Lawn & Tree Service

Late in the day, Highway 199 southeast out of Springtown toward Azle turns the color of a struck match, and the caliche drives up and down the side roads glow pale against dark grass. Keith Lawn & Tree Service is often still out in that light, finishing a lot with the mower, running the trimmer along a wire fence, laying a straight edge where the yard meets the drive. Evening is a fine hour for the last blow-down, because the wind lies flat and the dust settles instead of drifting back over the concrete. Yards in this stretch of country tend to be generous, with room enough that a mowing pattern shows plainly from the mailbox. Getting that pattern right, and the borders truer than they need to be, is the part worth staying late for.
