Green's Lawn Care Specialist

About Green's Lawn Care Specialist

By the middle of August the Bermuda around Springtown has baked to the color of a good biscuit, and the cicadas come up in the pecans about four in the afternoon. Green's Lawn Care Specialist mows through that heat with the deck set high enough to leave the grass some shade of its own, then trims the fence lines and cuts a clean edge where lawn meets concrete. The blower comes out at the end, and the drive goes back to gray with not a blade left on it. There is a particular pleasure in a yard cut late on a scorching day, when the light goes long and gold across a fresh-mowed lot and the whole thing looks cooler than it did an hour before. Come the first real rain of September, that grass wakes up quicker for having been treated kindly all summer.
