Breathe Easy Lawn

About Breathe Easy Lawn

Late March around Jesse H. Jones Park, the pines let go all at once and everything wears a yellow film — cars, porch rails, the still surface of the water. Breathe Easy Lawn works that season and the ones on either side of it: mowing, edging, trimming, walks left clear, beds weeded so nothing gets a foothold while your back is turned. Cutting on a steady schedule keeps grass from throwing seed heads, and pulling leaf litter out of the shady corners keeps a yard from staying damp for days. Then a good rain washes the pollen down, and the lawn comes up sharp and green and the air is worth standing out in. That is a fair thing to be working toward.
