Spring Creek Gardens

About Spring Creek Gardens

In March, the Texas mountain laurels around Spring Branch hang heavy with purple clusters that smell exactly like grape soda, and the bluebonnets start crowding the roadsides as if someone told them a secret. Spring Creek Gardens brings a gardener's eye to lawn care here, in the brief, giddy window when the Hill Country turns from tan to green within a few warm weeks. This is the moment to set a yard up for the year: the first cut of the season, beds cleared of winter debris, edges redrawn where the lawn meets the flowers. Hill Country gardens tend to shine when the margins stay a little wild and the lawn at their heart is kept just so, and that balance is a pleasure to strike. Get it right in March, and the whole spring unfolds around it.
