About Spring Creek Landscaping + Outdoor Builds

Dusk on the Smithson Valley side of Spring Branch is a slow show: white-tailed deer step out of the brush to browse the edges of the yards, the heat drains off the hills, and the stars come up thick as spilled sugar. Spring Creek Landscaping + Outdoor Builds tends lawns on this side of town, and its name points to a bigger idea, the yard as a place to live outdoors rather than a lawn to look at. On an early-summer night, a freshly mown lawn running out to the patio's edge is where the evening happens: chairs dragged onto the grass, a grill cooling, kids barefoot in the clippings. Keeping that ground mowed, trimmed and ready means the outdoor hours go to enjoying it rather than fighting it. With the deer forever testing the borders, a well-defined lawn is a gentle way of saying this part is ours.
