About Splendora Dirt Works

Rain in this part of Montgomery County comes hard and all at once, and flat ground with nowhere to send it turns a yard into a shallow pond by morning. Splendora Dirt Works reads the fall of a property and fixes it — grading, dirt work, drainage shaping, driveway and pad prep — along with the mowing and lawn upkeep that follows once the ground is right. Sandy loam moves easily out here, which is a gift and a warning at the same time. A good day ends with water running where you told it to go and grass going in over ground that finally sits level. Nothing showy about the work; everything that comes after depends on it.
