Splendora Dirt Works & Land Clearing

About Splendora Dirt Works & Land Clearing

By late August the pasture grass north of Splendora goes straw-colored and the ground finally hardens up enough to work all day without sinking. Splendora Dirt Works & Land Clearing spends that window opening lots and pastures: land clearing, brush and stump removal, grading and dirt work, plus lawn care and mowing to keep the finished ground in hand. Clearing toward the Sam Houston National Forest side of the county means deciding what stays — the big shade pine, the hardwood holding the fenceline — as carefully as what goes. When it's finished there's a bare, honest piece of land with a clean edge and a driveable path through it. That's a beginning, and it looks like one.
