Boots and Bows Lawn Care

About Boots and Bows Lawn Care

Lake Somerville is at its finest before seven, when the water lies flat and the light comes across it sideways through the post oaks. Boots and Bows Lawn Care starts its mornings in that hour, mowing while the dew is still down and the air off the lake is cool enough to work in. Edging gives a yard its outline — along the drive, around the walk, up against the bed — and trimming handles everything the mower is obliged to leave. In spring, when the roadsides between Somerville and Burton fill up with bluebonnets, a cut lawn is the frame that makes all that color make sense. The clippings get gathered, and the place is handed back looking rested.
