About HMU landscaping

On the north edge of Sherman new streets keep getting drawn across ground that was pasture last year, and the first thing a raw lot asks for is grass. HMU landscaping works those blank yards, laying sod and setting bed lines, putting in plantings, spreading mulch, then coming back for the first mow when the roots have taken hold. After that it becomes routine: cutting, trimming, edging, keeping the young landscape from getting ahead of itself in a wet spring. There is something satisfying about watching bare dirt turn into a lawn a family walks out onto. The older parts of town get the same rounds, just with bigger trees to work around.
