Douglas Lawn Care

About Douglas Lawn Care

By August the blackland clay under Sherman has cracked open wide enough to lose a coin in, and the Bermuda turns stubborn under a sky with nothing in it. Douglas Lawn Care meets that head-on, raising the deck so the turf keeps a little shade over its own roots, mowing in the early hours, trimming and edging while the sun is still low over the rooftops. It is sweat work, and the payoff is a lawn holding its color deep into the hottest stretch of the year. The route rolls on week by week until a cool front finally breaks the spell and everything greens again. Grass in this county lives on rhythm as much as it lives on water.
