About BrotherGreenery

February in Shady Hollow smells like mountain laurel, that purple bloom and its grape-soda drift on the wind, three weeks of it and then gone. BrotherGreenery reads the bloom as the signal to get ahead of the year: first cuts of the season, edges reset along drives and paths, winter litter trimmed and pulled out of the bed lines. From there it is a long even run of mowing until the grass finally sits down in December. Southwest Austin never really pauses, it only slows and then speeds up again. Being the first tidy lawn on a street that is just starting to wake up is a good way to open a season.
