Martin’s Lawn Service

About Martin’s Lawn Service

Six in the morning, and the dew on a Sealy lawn is heavy enough to soak a boot through while a mockingbird runs its entire catalog from the power line overhead. Martin's Lawn Service starts there, first cut of the day going down before the sun gets any leverage, then edging, trimming, and a clean sweep of the walk. Working early is its own reward out here, when the air off the prairie is still cool and the only other sound is a truck on the far highway. By the time most of the street is stirring, one yard is already finished and the mower is warm on the trailer, headed to the next. Sealy and the towns around it make up the daily loop.
