About Bubela Tree Farm & Arbor Care

Morning fog pools in the Navidad bottoms below Schulenburg and hangs there until the sun climbs over the tree line. Bubela Tree Farm & Arbor Care is out in it — mowing, trimming around trunks and fence posts, clearing brush and leaf litter, keeping the ground beneath the canopy open and even. Fayette County soil grows things enthusiastically, which means the distance between kept and overgrown is measured in weeks rather than months. Weekly cutting and seasonal clearing both have their place here, and the calendar takes its orders from whatever is actually growing. A well-mown place under old trees is one of the better sights in this county.
