About Travii Lawn Care llc

January turf in Schertz goes the color of dry straw, dormant and not dead, and the cedar elms stand bare enough to show the shape of every street. Winter here is not a vacation from lawn work so much as a change of pace — a trim when a warm week wakes things up, leaves and pecan husks cleared out of the beds, storm debris carried off, borders re-cut while the ground is soft and cool. Mowing, edging, trimming and cleanups run right through the mild months on whatever schedule a yard actually calls for. Doing that work in the cold pays off in March, when the green comes up through a clean lawn instead of a matted one. There is a quiet pleasure in the winter version of this job: no heat, low light, and a property left ready.
