Operation Lawn Care

About Operation Lawn Care

Dawn over Schertz, and the trainers out of nearby Randolph are already climbing into a sky that has not decided on its color yet. Early is the right hour to cut in Guadalupe County — the turf is firm, the air is honest, and a mower leaves a line you can sight down like a runway. The work is deliberate: mowing in laid-out passes, edging every walk and drive, trimming close along fences and posts, then blowing until the concrete is bare. A lawn cut this way looks organized from the street, which is a quiet kind of respect for the place someone lives. By the time the heat arrives, the yards are done and the day has already been worth it.
