About Exclusive Landscaping

On the Comal County side of Schertz the streets are new enough that most of the yards are still deciding what they want to be — a rectangle of fresh sod, a bare strip along the foundation, a builder's shrub or two waiting for a plan. That blank slate is the fun of it: laying beds with a real curve to them, setting stone borders that hold their line, running sod out to the corners so the seams disappear within a month. Ongoing mowing, edging, mulch and trimming keep the new work from sliding back toward wild. Evening comes in sideways here, the sun dropping behind the Hill Country rim to the west and throwing long copper light across a yard that finally looks finished on purpose. Handing back a place like that, tidy at every edge, is the whole point of the day.
