About Chris B's Amazing Trees

Late August in Denton County narrows the day down to two usable hours, one early and one late, and Chris B's Amazing Trees takes the early one. The truck rolls into Savannah while the streets are still blue-gray — mowing, trimming the shrub lines, clearing clippings before the heat gets over the rooftops. Shade is currency around here: the lawns under the older oaks hold their color while the open yards go pale, so the cut is set to shelter roots rather than scalp them. Everything gets blown back off the drive and the walk, because the last thing done is the first thing anybody sees. It is unshowy work, and it makes a whole street look looked-after.
