Castillo's Lawn Care

About Castillo's Lawn Care

You can see the Basilica of Our Lady of San Juan del Valle from a long way off, its white shape standing up out of country that otherwise lies perfectly flat. Castillo's Lawn Care keeps lawns across the neighborhoods spread around it — mowing, trimming, edging and hauling the clippings away — on the weekly rhythm a South Texas growing season demands. Grass here hardly stops; a yard left three weeks in August is a different yard entirely. So the truck comes when it says it will, the lines go straight, and the walks are cleared before anybody gets home. There is a quiet satisfaction in a street where every third yard has been squared away.
