About Bluebonnet Landscape & Design

By March the highway shoulders outside San Benito run blue with wildflowers, and the whole Valley seems to remember what color it can be. Bluebonnet Landscape & Design works that instinct into the yards of town: beds shaped and mulched, shrubs given form, sod laid where bare ground used to be, and the lawn kept cut and edged around it all. Planning comes first, because down here it has to — where the afternoon sun lands, which corner stays wet, what will still look right in August. The pleasure is standing at the curb afterward and seeing a yard that reads as one idea instead of a collection of chores.
