About Scherz Landscape Co

Fort Concho's limestone barracks have stood on the south bank since the beginning of this town, and San Angelo has always understood what stone does for a piece of ground. Scherz Landscape Co brings that vocabulary into yards: landscape design and installation, stone edging and borders, plantings, bed renovation, and steady lawn care once it's all in. Winter light here is thin and clear, and it is a fine season for seeing the bones of a landscape — the shapes, the levels, the way a walk meets the grass. Get those right and every summer afterward asks less of everybody. A yard ought to look composed in January too, when nothing much is growing.
