Angelo Yards

About Angelo Yards

The Santa Rita streets hold some of the oldest ground in San Angelo — deep front lawns, brick bungalows, live oaks older than the pavement they shade. Angelo Yards tends that kind of place: mowing at the height the grass actually wants, edging worn sidewalks back to their true line, shaping shrubs so the porch keeps its view of the street. Late on a May afternoon the light comes in low down those blocks and every fresh-cut lawn goes gold at once. Weeds are handled before they seed and leaves are gathered before they mat. Ground that has been looked after a long while ought to keep looking that way.
