About HornyToad Land & Land Services

On the dry edges outside Salado, where prickly pear crowds the fence lines and cedar takes any ground left alone, the caliche holds heat well past sundown and horned lizards sun themselves on it. HornyToad Land & Land Services works that rougher country: mowing lots and pastured yards, cutting back overgrowth along fences and drives, clearing brush and fallen limbs, trimming close where machines cannot go, and hauling the debris off the property. Reclaiming a lot that has gone shaggy is heavy, dusty work with a clear before and after. When it is done the land reads open again, and you can see the lay of it. That result is the reason to keep at it.
