About 3R Sodbusters, Inc.

Sod goes down at first light in Sabinal, before the Uvalde County sun gets both hands on the day. 3R Sodbusters, Inc. works the ground before anything green touches it — grading and prep, the caliche and river-bottom soil raked true — then lays pallet after pallet until a bare yard turns into a lawn between breakfast and noon. Water follows right behind the last seam. Out past town the Sabinal River runs under its cypresses toward the canyon country, and the same idea holds in a yard: keep the roots wet and the ground level and the rest takes care of itself. Mowing, edging and trimming afterward keep it looking the way it did on the first day.
