Savage Green

About Savage Green

Nothing grows like Bermuda in a Rowlett August after two inches of rain, four days and the lawn is knee-deep and mean about it. Savage Green shows up for that fight: the deck set high enough not to scalp, an even pass through growth that wants to bog a mower down, edges recut where the grass has thrown itself out over the concrete, the walks swept clear afterward. Deep color is not an accident in this heat, it is a mowing height, a schedule, and a refusal to let a week slide by. The green that comes back after a hard cut and a good soak is worth every degree of the afternoon.
