Rowlett Lawn & Landscape

About Rowlett Lawn & Landscape

Rowlett sits out on its own peninsula with the lake wrapped around two sides, which is why the wind here always seems to have come off water first. Rowlett Lawn & Landscape carries the town's name and works its whole map, the shoreline streets, the ranch houses on the older grid, the wide lots out toward the Sachse line. The year has a shape to it: first cuts as the grass wakes, weekly mowing through the long green stretch, leaf clearing when the pecans finally let go, tidy edges held through the dormant months. Every stop ends the same way, with the trimmer and the blower and a walk back to the curb to see the thing whole. The name on the truck is the town's, so the yards had better look like it.
