Arboreal Lawn & Landscape

About Arboreal Lawn & Landscape

By the middle of November the pecans along Rowlett's older streets let go all at once, and a lawn that was tidy on Friday is buried by Sunday. Arboreal Lawn & Landscape treats that stretch as its own kind of work: leaves pulled off the turf so the dormant grass underneath can breathe, beds edged back into shape, the driveway blown down to bare concrete. In the warm months the routine is simpler and no less exacting, a steady mow, the fence lines trimmed, the border cut where grass meets brick. The reward comes at dusk, when low light rakes across a fresh cut and every pass stands up in relief. Rowlett grew up under big shade trees, and keeping the ground beneath them handsome takes attention.
