About Garza's Landscape

Round Rock owes its name to a single stone: a low, rounded rock in Brushy Creek that marked a crossing for wagons and cattle drives on the Chisholm Trail. The city has grown far past that creek bank, yet an early summer morning there still smells of damp limestone and fresh-cut grass.
