Top Lawns

About Top Lawns

The first real norther of the fall comes down over Seabourne Creek and the pecans let go all at once, and for a few weeks every yard in Rosenberg is ankle-deep. Top Lawns keeps the mowing going straight through it, cutting and clearing in one pass while the air is finally cool enough to work in all day long. Leaves off the turf, off the beds, off the drive; hedges tidied before the holidays; the grass held even as it slows down for winter. Come March the same route starts over on a weekly rhythm, the St. Augustine waking up green along the fence lines and the edges going back in sharp. A yard that gets attention all year never really has a rough season — it just changes what the work is.
