About The Lawn Collective Co.

Rockwall sits on blackland prairie clay — dark, stubborn ground that holds water like a fist and gives it back slow, and every lawn in town grows on top of it. The Lawn Collective Co. works that ground at first light, when the dew is still heavy enough to darken a boot and the mower leaves a clean wet stripe behind it. Mowing, edging, trimming along fence lines and bed borders, then every clipping cleared off the walk so the only thing left standing is the grass. The county took its name from a wall of stone found buried here, and a kept yard works the same way: the part that matters is the straight line holding underneath. By the time the sun clears the rooftops and heat begins to stand up off the driveway, the crew is two streets over and the first yard looks like nobody was ever in it.
