About Lawns by Shawn LLC

The Brazos draws its slow brown line past Robinson, and every lawn in town is a small argument about how much water this country actually hands out. Huaco Landscape and Irrigation works both halves of that argument: mowing, edging and trimming above ground, and irrigation below it, where the lines and heads decide whether July stays green or goes. Five in the morning, zones ticking on in the dark, a fine mist drifting over the bermuda before anyone is awake — that is the hour a Central Texas summer is won. The name is the older spelling this valley has always carried, and the ground it covers is Robinson and the towns gathered near it. Landscape work fills the cooler months, when the soil turns workable and new planting takes hold.
