About Lee Landscape and Design

Down in the Denton Creek bottomlands the pecans and cottonwoods let go all at once in November, and a yard that looked finished on Friday is buried by Sunday. Lee Landscape and Design takes that season as it comes around Roanoke: leaf cleanup, bed renewal, pruning, planting and design work for the properties that want to be thought about, not just cut. Regular mowing, edging and trimming carry the rest of the year, but the drawings and the digging are where a place really changes. A bed laid out with an eye for how it will look in five years is a different kind of craft from a bed simply filled. Come the first clear cold morning, with the leaves gone and the shapes showing, the whole design finally reads.
