About Golub Green

January does not bury a Richardson lawn; it lays it down tan and quiet, with the bare pecans over Duck Creek showing every branch. Golub Green treats that stretch as working season rather than downtime — leaves hauled off the dormant turf so it can breathe, beds cleared, shrubs shaped while their structure is easy to read, pre-emergent timed ahead of the first warm spell. Ice comes through North Texas once or twice a winter and takes limbs with it, so cleanups follow close behind the thaw. When February turns, the mowing starts again and does not stop until the pecans drop for good. Winter work stays invisible for a while, then shows up all at once as an early, even green.
