About Don Yardas Landscaping & Lawn Maintenance Services

North Richardson still carries its farm bones — the Renner crossroads, the old section-line roads, the cedar elms left standing where somebody's fence once ran. Don Yardas Landscaping & Lawn Maintenance Services likes October up there, when the heat finally lets go and the pecan leaves come down all at once. That is the season for the long list: leaves hauled off, beds cut back and re-edged, shrubs shaped before dormancy, fresh mulch laid dark against trimmed grass. Mowing carries on through the fall, later and later into the day, until the bermuda gives up its color and goes to straw. Put a yard to bed properly in autumn and it wakes in April already knowing what to do.
