About Bastrop Landscaping & More

Red Rock is a small community of sandy hills and rust-colored stone in southern Bastrop County, a name the ground itself seems to vouch for. In March the roadsides go blue with bluebonnets and the post oak canopy unfurls its first pale leaves. Bastrop Landscaping & More cares for Red Rock lawns with mower and string trimmer, in a place where the deep sand drains fast and grass does better when it is never scalped. Through the warm months, steady mowing, careful trimming around oak trunks and walks blown clear keep each yard sharp against that red-tinged ground. Come evening, with low light slanting through the oaks, a newly cut lawn in Red Rock looks as if it belongs exactly where it is.
