Plant Daddy Dallas

About Plant Daddy Dallas

Stand on high ground in Red Oak on a clear summer evening and the Dallas skyline shows up small and pink on the northern horizon, twenty-some miles of prairie between here and there. Plant Daddy Dallas works that hinge of country, where new streets meet old farm ground and lawns range from postage stamps to half-acre corner lots. Mowing is the backbone of it, with edging that keeps walks and drives crisp against the black clay and trimming that keeps beds and borders from blurring at the margins. Clippings are blown off every hard surface before the truck leaves, because a finish that is only most of the way done is not a finish. Between the city glow and the last of the cotton fields, these yards get their own kind of attention.
